How To Use It
SHAPE THE EYES
Apply Velvet Pomades for structure & definition. Then set with Shape N' Shift Powders to lock in place.
SCULPT THE FACE
Sculpt with Velvet Pomades, apply to cheekbones, jawline and temples with a fluffy angled brush. Then, set with Shape N' Fix Powders in coordinating shade.
FILL THE BROWS
Structure brows with Velvet Pomades and fill with Shape N' Shift Powders using a small angle brush.

This is my first groundworks palette. I was never able to get the OG one. That being said there’s so much you can do with the blooming romance version. I adore it.
The looks you can create with this palette range everywhere from soft glam into grunge and alt inspired (my favorite).
You can literally do a whole face of make up with one palette. I do my lips, cheeks, and eyes. Even my eyebrows!
There are some key things that I would like to point out for anyone who’s considering getting this.
1) while this is a multi use palette, I do find that the pomade is a little drying on the lips. I strongly suggest just putting some lip balm or something on your lips first. Let that settle in and then you should be good to go. It will help a lot.
2) As with all DMB products, a little goes a long way! Start with light layers wherever you’re using it on your face and gradually build up towards what you’re aiming for.
I want to give a special shout out to how easy it is to use with both brushes and fingertips. I was able to blend beautifully on my eyelids, using just my fingers. The powders are very soft and velvety, and they set the pomade perfectly.
I love that I can use this to blend. Different lip. Looks every day of the week. Even with putting a lip balm down first, there’s very minimal transfer and the colors are set down very well. It seems to be completely water resistant as well.
On the eyes, I’ve had zero smudging. I didn’t use any foundation or primer and everything set perfectly and lasts hours.
