How To Use It
SHAPE THE EYES
Apply Velvet Pomades for structure & definition. Then set with Shape N' Shift Powders to lock in place.
SCULPT THE FACE
Sculpt with Velvet Pomades, apply to cheekbones, jawline and temples with a fluffy angled brush. Then, set with Shape N' Fix Powders in coordinating shade.
FILL THE BROWS
Structure brows with Velvet Pomades and fill with Shape N' Shift Powders using a small angle brush.

I purchased the Groundwork Blooming Romance Palette in the summer (2025) and I'm in love with the color story. Not only are there gorgeous roses and pinks, but also deep, chocolaty browns and reddish, mid-tone browns that allow for many different looks. My latest go-to look is the pinky, rose shade Smitten all over my eyelid, then I've added in Dreamy for some contour and depth. I top it with my Dior highlighter in pink or with ColourPop's Frog shade (a light, shimmery pink). These colors make my green eyes stand out.
The one struggle I have with the palette is how to get the best use of the pomade formula. I've been using my fingers, almost exclusively, to pick up the products and apply it to my eyelids. However, I have to go back and forth to the palette three to four times to get the color I'm looking for. Should I try a different method of application? The more traditional powder shadow (the smaller, more narrow pans) work fine with my Rephr brushes.
Any suggestions, Danessa/the DMB team, for how to apply the pomade formula?
Overall, I LOVE these products! I've also purchased the Yummy Skin Blurring Balm, both in translucent and in Shade 4. 5. And I just purchased her mini blush kit with the radiant blurring balm. OMG! LOVE!
